I spotted a curious thing last night, walking on Newton Ave from the supermarket. Momento Italian Restaurant, which hasn't had the best rep is being revamped and reopened under a different name. The new place (under the same management) is called Dino's Restaurant and Bar of Astoria. I inquired about the cuisine and it'll still be Italian with a few upgrades - I'll get a hold of the menu soon and post it.The inside of the restaurant is getting a much needed face lift and in order to see it for yourself, you can check it out this Monday when it'll open to the public. Curious to see if these improvements will make a difference.
