The previously named The Gyro Place on Ditmars Blvd is now called Aphrodite. The name change happened about a month ago but the place remains under the same management. The food is the same too but they've revamped their look a bit and designed a new menu. While the gyros here are not my favorite, they're decent and so is the rest of the food. I'd recommend it for take-out or a casual, quick lunch or dinner. Nothing fancy--just fast, convenient Greek food.Here is a peek at the menu that I grabbed:
