They first brought you the Summer Spit BBQ with Chef David Burke, and now judging by this new oyster event that's about to hit the streets in August, it seems that The Garden @ Studio Square has quite a number of fun festivities up their sleeve.
The June BBQ was an awesome time, and I loved the organized way in which it was put together, infused with culinary star power, fantastic food, music and a generally fun crowd.
The cleverly named "Shell-Shocked" event sounds great too and so appropriate for the summer. Can't you just smell the freshness of the sea just by reading about it? Here's what to expect...
Shell-Shocked - A NYC Shellfish Festival
Sunday, August 14th from 1 p.m. - 6 p.m.
- An unlimited amount of shellfish prepared in a number of different ways
- Unlimited tastings of Samuel Adams draft, Patron flavored margaritas, Cupcake Sauvignon Blanc (comes in a very cute-looking bottle), Bluefeld Riesling
And...in their signature fashion, an afternoon of live music.
