Vesta's Holiday Menu is a Feast for the Eyes and the Stomach

You can always count on Vesta to be open and welcoming during the holidays.  While their food offering is always special and interesting, they definitely kick it up a notch on holidays such as Thanksgiving, Easter, and especially Christmas and New Year's Eve. 

For those of you who've experienced it over Christmas, Vesta delivers a traditional Italian "Feast of the Seven Fishes." This year is no different but always just as amazing.  Here's the menu to whet your appetite.  I'll follow up with the New Year's offering soon too.


Vesta's Feast of the Seven Fishes

The seven fishes menu is for the entire table


Antipasto
:
Fried shrimp & roasted tomato puree

Olive oil poached halibut, grapefruit caramel, braised fennel
Agro-dolce glazed salmon, chickpea puree & basil oil

Primo
:
Baked gramigna pasta, PEI mussels, little neck clams, broccoli rabe,

toasted garlic & white wine

Secondo
:
Pan seared Bass & scallop duo, braised leeks, brown butter, cauliflower

puree, & fried shallots

Dessert:
Choice of Baby Jesus Cake (Foodista recommended - pictured above) or Panettone

$50/person + $15 with wine pairing
