Almost two months ago now, I mentioned that a new cafe/bakery called Meli is coming to the old Pinocchio's Palace space. Well over the course of those months, a lot of progress has been made, including a nice new awning, sporting a honeycomb logo. I'm still not yet sure what kind of bakery this will be (Mediterranean I'm guessing) but the digs look pretty nice so far and quite spacious for a bakery.
Although I don't know about an estimated opening date, I'm assuming that we'll see its door open in the next month. If you know more about Meli Cafe & Bakery, please feel free to pipe in with a comment. In the meantime...I'll continue to keep an eye out.
