La Rose - A Petit Cafe Comes to Astoria

The other day I noticed a cute little coffee shop, La Rose that's new to the Astoria Blvd neighborhood. It caught my eye because it's so rare that you see a little, independent shop dedicated to just coffee, tea and desserts.  It's so tiny and cute, with a little wooden bench in front, welcoming you to sit down and sip your coffee, while perusing the goings-on of this busy street.  It's really lovely and offers good quality illy coffe to boot.  Here's an abbereviation of the menu and its wallet friendly items:
