The Chicken Shack - Abbreviated Menu

I stopped at The Chicken Shack this weekend not to order anything but more to check out the atmosphere and the menu. While simple, on the inside, the place is very clean and smells like yummy chicken. 1. My husband and I grabbed some food there a couple of weeks ago. Plus side? The chicken is delicious. Downside? WORST BBQ SAUCE EVER. It tastes like Hunts. You know, that generic awful kind that tastes more like ketchup? That. Plus, the sides were mediocre in my opinion (mac and cheese was pretty bland and flavorless). I think its a great place to get some chicken and mashed potatoes but do not expect BBQ. Because it's not.

  3. i threw a little viewing party for Grey Gardens last Saturday night, and as a last minute i'm-too-busy-scrambling-down-steinway-to-cook decision, I had Chicken Shack deliver some wings to us. I asked for an 8pm delivery and they came perfectly on time and the wings were delicious and addictive. I'm not a wings aficionado, but everyone loved them. Makes me curious to try out the rest of their menu soon.
