Astoria's Restaurants Help Fight Hunger

March 8th marks another year for Time Out For Hunger, where more than 70 restaurants in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn help fight hunger--and raise money for the Food Bank for New York City. This is how it works:

On Sunday, March 8th visit any of the participating restaurants and they will donate 10% of the day's profits to the Food Bank for New York City. The following Astoria restaurants are getting involved:

718 - A quaint French Bistro on Ditmars Blvd, serving traditional and inventive fare. Try the tarte flambees, they're delicious.
35-01 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria NY 11105. 718.204.5553

Ovelia - A hip eatery on 30th Avenue specializing in Modern Greek cuisine. I highly recommend their brunch. 34-01 30th Ave, Astoria, NY 11103. 718.721.7217

Bistro 33 - A treat for the eyes, the stomach (and the wallet), this intimate restaurant serves an interesting fusion of French and Japanese food. All is tasty and I especially love their crawfish tempura.
33 - 19-33 Ditmars Blvd, Astoria, NY 11105. 718.721.1933

You can encourage your friends to participate in this event by sending them a custom invitation.

So go ahead and get involved. It's easy--all you have to do is eat!
