Love is in the Air at Astor Bake Shop

With V-Day so soon approaching, I wanted to start talking about some of the delectable things Astorian restaurants and sweet shops have in their plans.  Aside from the usual standbys, I spotted this sweet deal at one of my favorite bakeries in town - the Astor Bake Shop, and didn't want to forget to mention it.

The reason I love this place is that it's a cozy, wonderful spot that's set apart from all the hubbub of Astoria.  If you're in the mood for something really laid back and friendly, I urge you to check it out, especially for Valentine's Day.  Not only does the menu sound amazing, it's really affordable.  Not yet convinced? Just take a look...
