A still-new establishment, The Astor Room is in the not-yet-solidified experimentation phase of their business, where they're always trying something new with food and entertainment. I like these fluid activities a lot because they show the willingness to take risks to please their customers. And even though my food experience there wasn't the best, I'm absolutely willing to give it another shot, especially when I found out about their Tiki Lounge Tuesdays.
Involving both entertainment (in the form of a live tiki trio band) as well as tiki-themed cocktails and drinks, Tuesdays will be The Astor Room's designated Tiki nights and they start in two weeks. Although you know I'm not yet too fond of Astor Room's food, I do adore their drinks and fabulous atmosphere. That's why when I noticed their new summer drinks menu, I was intrigued and excited to share it with you.
What I love most about Astor Room's cocktails in general is the careful way in which they're prepared and the fresh ingredients such as seasonal fruit and fresh herbs that go into them. Each drink is prepared with great precision and involves an element of drama, executed by talented mixologists. I urge you to experience it for yourself.
