Welcome Cranky's Cafe

At last - a really cool place has occupied the old Brazil Coffee House space on Vernon Blvd in LIC.  I noticed it the other day when on my way to Testaccio and walked in briefly to check out their digs.  Oooohhhh...it was nice!  Set up like a casual cafe with wait service, the place features light food such as salads, paninis, traditional sandwiches and even brunch on weekends.  I love the elevated communal table on one side and intimate seating on the other.  It's a very chill place that I'd love to try out soon perhaps for lunch or brunch.

I grabbed a menu of course and wanted to give you a taste to whet your appetite:

  1. I loved Brazil Coffee House. This place looks good though. And how can I not want to go someplace that's called Cranky's Cafe? Why didn't I think of that first?
