I'm a sucker for a great burger + beer special, especially on a Thursday to get you in gear for the weekend!  I spotted this one today at The Sandwich Bar, which is strategically located close to other places of drink, including MP Taverna, which also boasts a great Happy Hour special.  Try one, try both - whatever strikes your fancy.

Special $1 Happy Hour at MP Taverna

Yeah...you're looking at the famous Chef, Michael Psilakis over here of MP Taverna.  Having the pleasure to meet this awesome chef earlier this summer when he opened up his latest outpost of MP Taverna in Astoria, I'm always keeping an eye on what he's up to. 

It seems like the folks at MP are certainly shaking things up, and I was interested to learn about a special happy hour with some pretty unbelievable (but true!) prices:

Tuesday, November 19th - Thursday, November 21st
4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 
$1 Radeberger drafts
$1 Souvlaki

Yeah, I had to read this one twice to believe it as well.  Get those dollar bills ready!
