Othello - Now Has Outdoor Seating

Othello Deli - 26-19 24th Avenue, Astoria NY 11102
718.956.1337
N/W Train to Astoria Blvd

Othello is hands-down my favorite deli in Astoria. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly and its convenience can't be beat. It's open almost 24 hours a day, from 4a - 1a on weekdays and from 4a - 2a on weekends.

Walking by today, I was happy to discover that they now offer outdoor seating with wait service. I grabbed a menu and liked what I saw--all of their in-house specialties at deli prices.

Here's a short preview. I encourage you to drop by and look for my favorite employee, Jose who'll surely start up a conversation with you. But really, all of the people at Othello are wonderful and they'll make you feel right at home.

  1. Hi - another great deli in Astoria is Sorrisos, which is on 30th ave between 44th and 45th. They have fantastic sandwiches and heros, and other Italian specialties.

And across from that is Gian Piero, my fave bakery in Astoria. Excellent italian cookies and they make a mean iced cappucino. Give them both a try sometime!

  2. Both sound amazing! I think I've been to that bakery before--but there will be a second time. :)
